Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman has been a gymnast in the U.S. for more than ten seasons. She was a member, and captain, for the US Olympic Women's Gymnastics Team Final Five (2012) as well as the Final Five (2016). Aly Raisman was awarded three gold medals during the 2012 Olympics, in London. In addition, she took her bronze on the balance beam. She was the only American to be awarded the most Olympic medals. She won the gold for team at the 2016 Olympics, which made her and Gabby Douglas first Americans to be the first pair of gold medalists back-to-back. Additionally, she won silver for individual all-around and for floor work. In between the two Olympics she took an absence from competitive gymnastics for 3 years. She also was among the gold-winning American teams in two World Championships. The gymnastics classes began when she was just two years old and is a fan of exercises on the floor. Aly has enrolled in her local Uniting Against Lung Cancer group in memory of her grandma. She would like to become an entrepreneur in fashion and broaden the line of leotards and socks in the coming years. The book she is working on is entitled Fierce to be published in the coming months.
